About
As a Research Fellow at the Institute of Electronics and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA), I engage in cutting-edge computer science and engineering research. I hold a Master's in Bioengineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto and have recently completed my PhD in Computer Science. My primary research interests revolve around Information Theory, Artificial Intelligence, and Compression, focusing on applying these methodologies to genomics. By integrating compression techniques and artificial intelligence approaches, I aim to advance knowledge in genomics and enhance our understanding of its underlying complexities.
